Abstract: This article aims to explore the necessity, feasibility and implementation strategies of integrating college English test-4(CET-4)content into English courses in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)universities. By analyzing the research background and significance, reviewing related literature, investigating the current English teaching situation and students' CET-4 preparation needs in TCM universities, this article proposes specific strategies for integrating CET-4 content into university English courses: optimizing course design, integrating online and offline teaching, providing personalized learning guidance, and strengthening practical teaching. Furthermore, this article clarifies the research framework and significance: taking university English course teaching reform as a lever, relying on the online learning platform, promoting the deep integration of information technology tools and teaching processes, further deepening the construction of online university English courses, and improving the efficiency and quality of cultivating outstanding TCM talents.
