Abstract: Objective To investigate the correlation between MRI burden score and early deterioration of neurological function in patients with mild stroke. Methods Retrospective analysis of 395 inpatients with ischemic stroke in June, 2018 to December, 2020 were conducted. According to the early neurological deterioration, the patients were divided into the worsening group(n=36)and the conventional group(n=359). The relationship between gender, age, past history(hypertension, diabetes,et al), nuclear magnetic resonance score, baseline systolic blood pressure, blood lipids, homocysteine and other neurological deterioration were analyzed. Results The MRI burden score in the early neurological deterioration group was higher than that in the routine group(P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis found that MRI burden score were independent risk factors for early neurological deterioration in patients with mild stroke(P<0.05). Conclusion The higher the MRI burden score, the higher risk of early neurological deterioration in patients with mild stroke.
