Objective To investigate SLC5A8 gene’s transcription level of mRNA and its methylation status in colorectal cancer. Methods Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR and methylation specific PCR method(MSP)were used to detect the transcription level of SLC5A8 gene’s mRNA and the methylation level of SLC5A8 gene in 40 cases of colorectal cancer tissues and adjacent tissues. Results The rate of transcription level of SLC5A8 gene’s mRNA in colorectal cancer rate was significantly lower than that in tumor adjacent tissues(χ2=16.241,P<0.05),the positive rate of SLC5A8 gene methylation in colorectal cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues(χ2=32.237,P<0.05),the transcription level of this gene’s mRNA was negatively correlated with its methylation status. The correlation coefficient was 0.875.Conclusion SLC5A8 gene methylation can significantly reduce the expression of the gene, which may be associated with the occurrence of colorectal cancer.

Objective To study characteristic expression of adrenal medullary lipoma(AML)in the MSCTand improve diagnostic accuracy and diagnostic level of AML of the MSCT.Methods 12 cases of adrenal medullary lipoma were confirmed by surgical in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Puyang form 2012 to 2015,and AML’s expression characteristics in the MSCT were analyzed retrospectively. Results Among 12 cases of adrenal medullary lipoma, most of the lumps shape indicated round or class round, and the boundary was clear.Off them 9 cases had the majority of adipose tissue,3 cases with a little adipose tissue,2 cases had calcification. The CT enhanced examination showed that the solid tumor component and septa and involucrum were mild enhancement, and the adipose tissue was no enhancement. Conclusion The MSCT has great diagnostic value in the diagnosis and antidiastole of adrenal medullary lipoma.

Objective To explore the predictive value of TCM four diagnostic information related to HMG induced ovulation. Methods During the period from January 2009 to March 2012,250 cases of infertility were treated with induced ovulation, according to the curative effect were divided into failure group(180 cases)and the successful group(70 cases). The two groups of statistical analysis were carried out after collecting the information of four diagnostic methods, such as symptoms, tongue and pulse,in the form of questionnaire survey. Results The two groups four diagnostic information had significant statistical difference. The multivariate regression analysis showed that thirsty and preference for cold drinks, soreness and weakness of the lumbar region, rapid pulse and massive pulse had negative correlation with curative effect, while thready pulse and thin-white-fur had positive correlation with it.Conclusion There is obvious correlation between the four diagnosis information and the ovulation induction effect, which has a predictive value for the effect of ovulation induction.

Myriads of studies indicate that sperm with severe head morphological abnormalities is closely associated with low fertilization, implantation and pregnancy rate.Selecting high quality sperm used for ART(assisted reproductive techniques)is an effective way to improve the clinic outcome.A normal sperm selected under a optical microscope with low magnification(×200)could contain some ultrastructural defects, which may result in fertilization failure or arrest of embryonic development after ICSI(Intracytoplasmic sperm injection). However, intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection(IMSI)shows the perfect match between ICSI and MSOME(Motile sperm organelles morphology examination),which can evaluate the quality of sperm morphology and cherry-pick sperm with none or less vacuole for microinjection to increase the rates of fertilization, implantation and pregnancy,as well as decrease the abortion rate. The examination is performed using a differential interference contrast microscopy and digital imaging technologyto achieve a magnification up to 6 600×.This review mainly focus on the development history of IMSI techniques, its application in optimal selection of sperm and analysis of clinical outcomes, which will provide some theoretical directions to its application popularization and further development.

Gastric cancer is a common cancer, with high morbidity and mortality.Despite there are a lot of research on the pathogenesis of gastric cancer, but the exact mechanism is still unclear.Nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB)exists widely in cells which are significantly related to differentiation, proliferation, apoptosis, immune response and stress response. In addition to the NF-κB signaling pathway disorders in gastric cancer in the origin and development, invasion and metastasis, therapy and prevention are involved. We summarize recent progress in understanding the role of the NF-κB pathway in gastric cancer.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is one of the most common chronic liver diseases.Although the incidence rate of NAFLD is rising rapidly in our country, effective clinical treatment is still lacking.Due to the close anatomical and functional relationship between the gut and the liver, emerging evidence suggests an important role of gut microbiota in the initiation and progression of NAFLD.Altered gut microbiota due to environmental factors can lead to liver damage. Results of animal studies strongly support the protective effect of probiotics against NAFLD.Currently, there is only a small number of randomized controlled clinical trials evaluating the effectiveness of probiotics on NAFLD treatment;nonetheless, findings show intake of probiotics can improve symptoms of the disease.More multi-centre large-scale randomized controlled trials are needed in order to provide evidence for clinical application of probiotics.

Objective To explore the application effects of the Case based learning(CBL)teaching method combined with Lecture-based learning(LBL)in teaching blood gas analysis(ABG)with the conventional teaching method as the control. Methods 72 interns of the undergraduate were randomly divided into 2 groups: conventional LBL teaching group(group LBL)and CBL+LBL teaching group(group CBL+LBL)to evaluate the teaching impact of the two teaching methods. Results The CBL+LBL teaching method was more advantageous than the conventional LBL teaching method by the objective scores of the examinations, the subjective self-evaluation of the students and the self-assessment of the teachers. Conclusion The advantages of the good integrity and the combination of the practice and theory in the CBL combined with LBL teaching leave the clinicians more room to play and make the students comprehend and apply better.
