Application of scene introduction combined with case-based learning model in anesthesiology teaching

Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of scene introduction strategy combined with case-based leaning(CBL)in anesthesiology teaching.Methods The undergraduate students majoring in anesthesiology in Nanchang University were randomly divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method.The control group(26 students)was taught by the CBL,and the observation group(27 students)was taught by the scene introduction strategy combined with the CBL.And the class room test was conducted after each class.At the end of the semester,the scores of the two groups in theoretical test,experimental test and classroom test were compared,and a questionnaire survey was conducted according to the students' satisfaction with the teaching effect.Results The scores of the observation group in classroom test,theoretical test and experimental test were significantly higher than those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The questionnaire survey showed that the satisfaction rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group in improving academic performance,stimulating learning interest,promoting active learning,improving learning efficiency and students' satisfaction with teaching methods,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The questionnaire survey showed that the satisfaction rate of students in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the scene introduction strategy combined with the CBL in clinical anesthesiology teaching can significantly improve the theoretical level and clinical practice ability of anesthesia students.The application of this mode in anesthesiology teaching has achieved good teaching results,which is worthy of popularization and application in teaching.
