Abstract: The perceived risk of disease recurrence is the basis for individuals to accept preventive behaviors, and it is important to raise patients' awareness of the risk of recurrence and reduce the rate of disease recurrence. This article describes the concepts related to risk perception, single-dimensional and multi-dimensional of assessment tools, and summarizes the influencing factors and coping strategies of perceived risk of disease recurrence in stroke patients, aiming to help healthcare professionals better understand the importance of assessing the perceived risk of recurrence, and to provide new ideas for clinical workers to carry out disease recurrence management and related interventions.
