Study on clinical students’ opinion and attitude about medical ethics education in Xinjiang medical university

Abstract: Objective To understand attitude of clinical students towards medical ethics education. Methods Questionnaire survey was done in 1145 clinical students of Xinjiang medical university. Results There was no obvious difference on the opinion of whether the one-child should strengthen medical ethics necessity in different ethnic groups (P>0.05). Students of different gender, different grade had different opinions on understanding the necessity of strengthening medical ethics (P<0.05). 97.16%of clinical medical students were willing to select medical ethics. There was a difference on the evaluation results of clinical students about different education stages (P<0.05). Conclusion Gender, school age are the main factors that affect understanding of students for the necessity of medical ethics. To change education methods for medical students of different gender and school age has important signiifcance to strengthen the necessity of ethics.
