Application of community comprehensive management combined with Paroxetine in relieving depression and anxiety of patients with digestive malignancy

Abstract: Objective To explore the treating effects of community comprehensive management combined with Paroxetine in relieving depression and anxiety of patients with digestive malignancy. Methords 89 digestive malignancy patients with depression and anxiety were researched in the Community health center areas of medium-sized cities, which was treated with Paroxetine combined with community comprehensive management. The SCL-90 SAS SDS and FACT-G were analyzed by statistical method before and after treatment between 2011.2 and 2014.2. Results SCL-90 scores indicated that patients in the survey community had depression, anxiety before the treatment. And the SCL-90 scores were improved after the treatment, there was statistically differences (P<0.05). Comparing SAS SDS FACT-G scores for estimating depression and anxiety degrees of patients, they were decreased obviously after the treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion Community comprehensive management with Paroxetine is an effective treatment to relieve depression and anxiety status, and can improve the life quality of digestive malignancy patients.
