Abstract: Objective To discuss the practicability by applying PBL teaching mode based on new media in standardized training in Geriatric. Methods PBL teaching plan suitable for online teaching was designed, PBL teaching mode based on WeChat platform and other new media was established and applied in standardized training in clinical Geriatric teaching. Through teaching questionnaire survey, the teaching effects of the experimental group were compared with that of the traditional teaching control group and the conventional PBL teaching group. Results The total scores of teaching questionnaire in the experimental group were higher than that in the control group(58.46±1.6 vs 54.04±1.67,P<0.05), the scores of course attraction and course schedule in the experimental group were significantly higher than that in the control group, and there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the conventional PBL group. Conclusion The integrated PBL teaching mode based on new media has some application advantages, and the teaching effects are good, which is worth further expanding the application and verification.
