Discussion on postoperative nursing care in patients with thyroid nodules(Report of 536 cases)

Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical nursing effect of thyroid nodules after operation. Methods Retrospective analysis of clinical nursing data in 536 patients with thyroid nodules from Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University from June 2010 to June 2015 were carried out.Results Among 536 cases,34 cases showed postoperative hypocalcemia convulsions,two cases occurred nausea and vomiting,after appropriate treatments they were restored to normal.The average postoperative hospitalization time was(8.1±2.8)d,all were discharged from the hospital. After conducting follow up-study for 3 to 6 months,there was no recurrence in the patients.Conclusion Paying close observation after operation,conducting basic nursing,giving life guidance,psychological care,timely treatment of complications are key measures to the rehabilitation of the patients,which are worthy of widely application in clinical practices.
