Impact of early rehabilitation in treating shoulder subluxation after stroke

Abstract: Objective To observe the rehabilitation of early intervention impact on the shoulder subluxation after stroke hemiplegic. Methods Using the method of randomization, patients were divided into observation group and control group, 30 cases in each. Both groups received early neurological conventional drug therapy and acupuncture, functional electrical stimulation, observation group basing on this were also given early rehabilitation guidance timely. Results After a month of shoulder protection of treatment, 18 cases were effective (60.0%), 9 cases of observation group were improved, 3 cases were failed, and that of the control group was 33.3%(10/30). There was a signiifcant difference between the 2 groups(P<0.05). Conclusion Early rehabilitation in conjunction with acupuncture, functional electrical stimulation fundamentally can reduce the incidence of shoulder subluxation after stroke.
