Abstract: Objective To observe the effects of Jixue-dianduan acupuncture in treating dysphagia after stroke. Methods Randomly separated 60 patients into the observation group and the control group. Based on the neurological traditional treatment for stroke and fundamental swallowing train for each of the two groups, the control group had acupuncture on ordinary acupoints while the observation group had Jixue-dianduan acupuncture treatment. The two groups were both evaluated by the WaTian’s drinking water test after two courses of treatment. Results There were significant differences in efficacy between the two groups (P<0.05). conclusion The Jixue-dianduan acupuncture treatment is worthwhile for expanding in clinic for its striking curative effects.
