Survey on cervical vertebra health and the related knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of college students

Abstract: Objective To understand the current situation about cervical vertebra health and the related knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of college students, and provide evidence for the health education programs. Methods Using cluster sampling, selected 354 on-campus college students in Baoding and they were investigated with questionnaires. 4 groups of focus group discussion was conducted by the convenience sampling. Results 78.5% students were in the cervical fatigue, spending much time at desk and lacking of exercise, the awareness on the cervical vertebra health was low among them. 73.2% students hoped the colleges and society to conduct more related health education. conclusion Cervical vertebra health problems were widespread among college students, it is suggested to strengthen the cervical vertebra health education and behavior intervention for them.
