Abstract: Objective To explore risk factors for cerebral microbleeds(CMB)in patients without hypertension and diabetes. Methods Patients hospitalized in the Department of Neurology,Baoding NO.1 Central Hospital from April 2019 to March 2020 without hypertension and diabetes were retrospectively recruited. Each patient underwent MRI check including susceptibility-weighted imaging(SWI).They were divided into two groups according to the existence of CMBs named CMB group(with CMBs, n=35)and NCMB group(without CMBs, n=114)respectively.Clinical and neuroimaging information was collected.Statistical analysis was conducted thereafter. Results It was demonstrated by univariate analysis that age, systolic blood pressure and systolic-to-diastolic pressure were associated with CMBs(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the older of the patient, the results of the experimental subjects would become(OR=1.535,95%CI=1.089-2.165,P=0.014)and the higher systolic blood pressure(OR=1.715, 95%CI=1.077-2.506, P=0.019), the higher risk of CMB.Conclusion Age and systolic blood pressure were independent risk factors for CMBs in patients without hypertension and diabetes.
