Application of QCC management in improving exclusive breastfeeding during hospitalization

Abstract: Objective To discuss the application results of obstetric nurses using QCC anagement to solve the problem of the low rate of exclusive breastfeeding. Methods By setting up the QCC team, identifying the main factors affecting the rate of exclusive breastfeeding through retrospective investigation, using brainstorming to propose a solution, continuously improve and form a standardized breastfeeding missionary work mode via circle ability, the exclusive breastfeeding rates were finally increased. Results Exclusive breastfeeding rate of experimental group(maternal and child) was 55%, while in the control group was 38%, the knowledge of breastfeeding in mothers and their family members in the experimental grasp was significantly better than the control group, and the difference was significant( P<0.01). Conclusion QCC activities not only enhance the exclusive breastfeeding rate of maternal and child in hospital, but cultivate the ability to solve problems of the department members and enhance the cohesion of department.
