Abstract: In order to play the main body role of the students in classroom teaching and improve the quality of bilingual teaching of Medical Genetics, the authors employed TBL teaching mode in the Forensic Medicine of Grade 2016. In this teaching reform, the measures were adopted as follows:(1)Innovating teaching idea, improving teacher levels.(2)Breaking chapter limits, optimizing teaching content.(3)Breaking through the boundaries of inner and outer classes, making full use of spare time. Through this reform, it was found that TBL Teaching not only fully embodied the teaching idea of student orientation but also induced students to be familiar with the English application in Genetics in process of completing the analysis of hereditary disease, which could greatly promote students' learning of professional English.
