Abstract: Objective To investigate the efficacy of nursing care applying to complex pilon fracture patients treated with damage control operation.Mothods Fifty six patients underwent with damage control orthopeadics(two stages).Data were collected from march 2011 to march 2015.Results The average postoperative hospitalization time was fourteen(14±1.6)d.No complication happened,such as infection,skin necrosis,all patients were discharged successfully and the functions were satisfactory through follow up for 4 to 6 months.Conclusion Two stages nursing care applying to complex pilon fracture can be successful coverage,which is quite effective in treating these patients.
