Effects of nursing intervention on prognosis of patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage

Abstract: Objective To observe the effects of nursing intervention on prognosis of patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods 298 cases with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage diagnosed and treated in the People’s Hospital of Rongcheng County from January in 2009 to March in 2012 were randomly divided into two groups, the observation group(n=149) and the control group(n=149). Patients in the control group received regular nursing, while patients in the observation group received nursing intervention and regular nursing. We used Barthel and FIM to evaluate the patients’ life quality and self-care ability. Results The patients’ life quality and self-care ability were approved significantly in the observation group, and there were significant difference between the 2 groups. conclusion Nursing intervention can improve life quality and self-care ability of patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage, enhance their social sense of belonging, and reduce the financial and spiritual burden on family and society.
