Abstract: Excess free radicals can react with many biology high polymer, such as fatty acids and proteins, taking their hydrogen atoms and causing oxidative stress damage in the biomass. The researches indicate that Schisandrin B(SchB) has significant antioxidant effect and is expected to be used as a new type of antioxidant to protect the oxidative stress injury. This paper reviews the antioxidation of SchB and provides the theoretical basis for clinical treatment of free radical related diseases.
