Myopia is a common disease in the population, and its incidence is increasing year by year, especially in children and adolescents, seriously affecting their physical and mental health. Binocular vision refers to that two eyes see at the same time, while external objects fall on the retina, forming retinal images, nerve excitatory transmission go to the brain higher center, so that the visual signals of two eyes merge into a single perceptual object. When viewing stereoscopic objects, due to the difference of normal pupil distance and the angle of faxation, the images formed on the retina of the two eyes are not completely symmetrical and have certain horizontal difference. This phenomenon is called Binocular Parallax, which gives us stereoscopic perception. Many studies have shown that binocular vision functions such as accommodation, convergence, stereoscopic vision and the development of myopia interact. The purpose of this article is to review the developments of binocular vision function and myopia in order to provide reference for the prevention and control of myopia to choose effective and appropriate programs.

Objective To investigate the effect of ginsenoside Rg1 on the proliferation of adriamycin(ADR)-resistant K562/ADR cells in human chronic myeloid leukemia(CML)and its reversal of drug resistance in K562/ADR cells. Methods CCK-8 assay was used to detect the effects of different concentrations of ginsenoside Rg1 on the proliferation of K562/ADR cells. CCK-8 assay was used to detect the effects of ginsenoside Rg1 combined with ADR on the proliferation of K562/ADR cells, and the half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC50)and reversal fold were calculated. Colony formation assay was used to detect the effects of ginsenoside Rg1 combined with ADR on the colony formation ability of K562/ADR cells. Flow cytometry was used to detect the effects of ginsenoside Rg1 combined with ADR on the cell cycle of K562/ADR cells. Results Compared with the control group, the proliferation inhibition rate of K562/ADR cells treated with 120 μg/ml ginsenoside Rg1 for 48 h was significantly increased(P<0.001). Compared with the ADR alone group, the IC50 value of ginsenoside Rg1 combined with ADR for 48 h decreased significantly in K562/ADR cells(P<0.05), and the fold reversal of ginsenoside Rg1 resistance to K562/ADR cells was 2.34. Compared with the control group and ADR or ginsenoside Rg1 alone group, ginsenoside Rg1 combined with ADR could significantly inhibit K562/ADR cell colony formation(P<0.05). Compared with the ADR or ginsenoside Rg1 alone group, ginsenoside Rg1 combined with ADR could arrest the cell cycle in G0/G1 phase. Conclusion Ginsenoside Rg1 combined with ADR can significantly inhibit the proliferation of K562/ADR cells and reverse the resistance of K562/ADR cells to ADR, which may be related to the cell cycle arrest in G0/G1 phase.

Kümmell's disease(KD)is a delayed form of vertebral ischemic necrosis after minor trauma. KD shows delayed vertebral compression fracture, and the most common lesion is at the junction of thoracolumbar spine. Patients with KD often have a history of minor trauma. Although the postoperative pain disappears, the symptoms often relapse and worsen, and kyphosis deformity occurs many years later. The diagnosis of KD depends not only on imaging technology, but also on the comprehensive analysis of patients' medical history and clinical symptoms. Intraspinal fracture caused by trauma is considered to be the most important feature in the diagnosis of KD. Patients with KD can adopt different treatment schemes according to whether there is nerve defect. Patients with KD without nerve defect can be treated with conservative treatment, percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP), percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP)and other methods. However, the above methods are often accompanied by leakage of bone cement. With the development of modern medicine and technology, in order to reduce the leakage of bone cement, clinicians have made a series of improvements to the operation on the basis of PVP, PKP, anterior reconstruction and posterior osteotomy, which effectively reduces the occurrence of complications and improves the quality of life of patients.

    Abstract144)      PDF(pc) (423KB)(116)       Save
Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are a kind of adult stem cells residing in a variety of tissues, such as bone marrow, adipose tissue and umbilical cord. With the developments of standard procedures and protocols for isolation, culturing and characterization of these cells, MSCs have emerged as an ideal seed cell for myocardial repair. When transplanted into a injured heart, MSCs have paracrine effects that nurture the injured area, prevent adverse cardiac remodeling, and mediate angiogenesis capabilities. MSCs have short survival time and risk of tumor formation, so they have not been widely used in clinic. In order to improve the therapeutic potential of MSCs and ensure its therapeutic safety, many methods such as gene modification, drug induction and bioengineering have moved from basic research to clinical practices, making MSCs become a high-quality resource cells for myocardial repair, bring new opportunity to myocardial infarction and end-stage heart failure.
